Inspired by the O'Shaughnessy poem, Ode ("We are the music maker and we are the dreamers of dreams"), The Dreamers of Dreams seeks to capture the essence of building something from the ground up, such as a percussion program. The rousing celebratory nature of the piece will take your breath away.

Instrumentation: Bells/Crotales + Low Drum Xylophone/Chimes + Low Drum Vibraphone 1 + Low Drum Vibraphone 2 + Low Drum Marimba 1 (4-octave) + Low Drum Marimba 2 (4-octave) + Low Drum Marimba 3 (4.3-octave) + Low Drum Marimba 4 (5-octave) + Low Drum Percussion 1 4 Timpani, Sizzle Cymbal Percussion 2 (Bell Tree, Mark Tree, Bongos (2), Congas (2), Suspended & China Cymbal) Percussion 3 (Snare Drum, 4 Concert Toms, Suspended & Ride Cymbal) Percussion 4 (Concert Bass Drum, Tam-Tam, Log Drums (4), Temple Blocks) Voices (ensemble members have vocal cues in their parts so they can sing)
