• Accessories — brake drum, 2 woodblocks (high & low)

City Lights by Kevin Robles is a multipercussion duet that captures the vibrant and explosive pulse of urban life. Written during the composer’s time in Nashville, the piece reflects the energy and diversity of the modern cityscape through intricate rhythms and bold textures.

The  instrumentation includes mounted kick drum and bongos (both shared), while fourn toms, two woodblocks, and a brake drum round out the sonic palette. The compact, shared-instrumentation setup adds a visual complement to the audio for this high-energy work.
