At Home by Ryan Loud is a medium-advanced duet for marimba and vibraphone with optional drumset and bass. Originally written as a handpan solo, the piece centers on groove-based phrasing and chordal writing that translate naturally to keyboard percussion.

The marimba part requires four-mallet technique, while the vibraphone part is written for two mallets with detailed pedaling and damping indications. The two parts interlock rhythmically, often in asymmetric patterns, creating a laid-back but steady forward motion.

Expand the setup further with optional drumset and bass. A chord-based lead sheet is included for the bass part, allowing players to either read or shape their own lines, while the drumset part leaves room for interpretation within the groove.

This arrangement features handpan-inspired, idiomatic phrasing while offering a practical and flexible option for mallet players.
