Subliminal Thoughts by Wesley Denkins is an atmospheric, medium-level percussion ensemble work for thirteen players. Originally written for the inaugural performance of the North Georgia Percussion Ensemble, the piece showcases intricate interplay among different instrument groups, requiring careful listening and precision timing from all performers.

Built around subtly recurring motives, Subliminal Thoughts invites the audience to experience a shifting soundscape that reveals deeper structure when listened to holistically. Each performer has a meaningful role, with challenging parts and featured moments for every instrument group.
