Yumemiru

Yumemiru – What a wonderful, exciting, and innovative work! Fascinating harmonies and overlapping patterns create subtle echoes of minimal music. The work stands out pleasantly from many other percussion ensemble pieces, which often have a somewhat similar structure.

BUT: how can you allow music to be notated so incorrectly? All 7/8 and 5/8 passages are notated in 7/4 and 5/4 time.
I found it impossible to conduct against the pulse of the music. I therefore had to rewrite the entire score. This was a huge task, which should really have been the publisher's responsibility. But to be able to play such good music, it was worth it to me.
