Rather than relying exclusively on alternating strokes, the performer is frequently asked to sustain a melodic line with one hand while the other supplies the accompanying harmony. Rapid passages, frequent meter changes, and movement across the instrument keep the music in near-constant motion, giving advanced mallet players an opportunity to develop speed, coordination, and independence while delivering a spirited, virtuosic performance.

This piece ships as a fully bound score.

·
