Are you wasting half your rehearsal time?

As a percussion instructor, you know that practicing at home often falls by the wayside. And when members do practice, mistakes creep in unnoticed, simply because it's difficult to check your own part without a frame of reference.

Not to mention the challenge of giving them a sense of their role in the ensemble at home, without letting rehearsals devolve into endless repetition of passages that are difficult to play together.

But the reality is worse than you think.

Studies in motor learning and decades of experience show a painful truth: musicians often spend 50% their rehearsal time simply unlearning and fixing ingrained mistakes made during individual practice.

Think about that.

Half of your precious rehearsal time isn't spent on musicality. It's spent on "un-learning" wrong notes and rhythms. It is frustrating for you, boring for your percussionists, and a massive waste of your rehearsal time.

We believe it's absolutely unnecessary to spend your rehearsals correcting ingrained mistakes.

Eliminate rehearsal mistakes before they happen

All pieces in our 2027 Concert Percussion Series are coming with our innovative Performance Acceleration Tools.

This digital rehearsal system does the heavy lifting at home, so you don't have to waste time teaching basic notes during rehearsals. You are getting:

🎯 Solo Accuracy Tracks
Individual "example" audio tracks for every single part. Your students learn exactly how their specific part is structured, mastering correct notes and rhythms before they set foot in the rehearsal room.

🥁 Ensemble Context Tracks
Full-production "karaoke" play-along tracks. Students practice their parts while hearing the rest of the ensemble, helping them immediately understand their role, timing, and balance in the group.

🔧 Smart Practice Tools
Through a special online page, your members have direct access to useful tools. These tools allow them to easily play, slow down, or speed up practice tracks, so they can master difficult passages at their own pace.

100% digital. 100% instant.

No waiting, no shipping costs, and no more ordering lost parts!

Starting this season, our new titles are fully digital. The moment you purchase, you receive instant access to download your complete set of scores, individual parts, and the Practice Acceleration Tools.

Do you want to be the first to find out how this works and what the new pieces will sound like?

Meet Your Host: Dirkjan van Groningen

As a graduate percussionist (ArtEZ University of Arts) and percussion teacher at the Quintus Arts Center, Dirkjan gets his hands dirty every week. He understands the rehearsal challenges faced by percussion ensembles better than anyone.

In addition to the pieces published through Concert & Marching Music (EU) and Band Music Center (US), a number of his compositions have been published by Row-Loff Productions. In recent years, several of his ensemble pieces have been added to the Texas PML and the Florida State Music List.

His mission for this event? To provide conductors and instructors with fun new percussion ensemble music, including the latest tools to make practicing at home more enjoyable and to fill rehearsals once again with genuine ensemble playing.
